This is a keychain that I turned for my wife back when we were dating. The wood was from a wild cherry tree that was cut down on my dad’s property for firewood. When I see something that looks intriguing headed to the firewood pile, I snag it and toss it in the shop for “future” projects. This piece was beautiful when I cut it open.

The picture may not do it complete justice. Sorry for the lousy pictures I’ve posted, but I’m hoping my photography skills increase along with my woodworking skills.

Thanks for looking!

Looks nice has interesting lines which stand out. Keep at it, I make them with a pen for a matched set with a letter opener as well.
