Saved a dead clock and used the face to make a saw blade shop clock. Its small (8” across) but easily read as the hands are longer than the clock face is large. Quarter inch plywood.

Nice, I had one I made from a flywheel off a car. Some soul came by and wanted it, had CASH in his hand like I could resist a generous donation to my shop equipment fund? (laughing)
