My mom teaches Purity seminars and was looking for something to hand out to the students at the closing session. After looking at the catalogue I was like, “I can do that…”. So I came up with this from some maple scraps I had lying around. I also made some out of walnut but didn’t take any pics before she gave them out lol.

Sanded to 220 with 2 coats of minwax fast dry poly. Black ink pen for the lettering.

Beautiful in its simplicity. You have taken a wood chip and turned it into a piece of art. I really like this.

Great job and I know I’m a bit late, but welcome to L.J.’s.

Proof once again, that there is no such thing as scrap in the woodshop!! Great idea, well executed. Thanks for posting!!

Like it. It’s simple but creates a great impact especially on the saying. Great job and great use of scraps.

Have your say...
