i seen this online . it looked really useful since i had a project coming up that i would need one . real simple build but works great enjoy the split down the middle of the rail holds it in place when you tighten up nut will not slide and the cut out keeps the main pice from moving its a stop

You might want to add a skate bearing to the front. Several brands on Amazon for under $10 a dozen or your local skate rink might sell you one for a couple dollars. I buy a dozen at a time and I can always find a place for them to work.

Tried the local bearing store once and they wanted $21 for one.

Nice, I have seen these and only recently said I could use that. The skate bearing is a good idea, I prob have a small bearing from some car in my box at work. Thanks for the post.

Made one of these with a small bearing on one end and cut feathers for a reversable feather board on the other.
I like jigs that are useful in several ways.
