I have a wonderful lady who keeps my house functioning …. but she is very short …. thus. This is QSWO sides and RSWO stretchers & top. Very sturdy.

Great looking step stool! Beautiful wood, great joinery and the finish really made the grains pop. Like the handle as well.

Thanks, folks! Tom, I spent about 5 hours total on this stool. The stretchers are wedged through tenons and the top is dovetailed. The beauty of the wood grain is one of my major draws to woodworking so I’m always thrilled when I can achieve a great function and show off the grain.
