A friend of mine had some old ourdoor solar lights, that were used to light a sidewalk. She wanted something to be able to put them in and put on their picnic table. So I went to the firewood stack, and found a piece of cedar that volunteered for the job. After a few minutes on the lathe, and a trip to the drill press, this is what I came up with. I think these turned out alright. (Andy- today is a alright day, laughing)

And they’ll hold candles when the sun doesn’t shine. Good project.
