Table saw stand

Made this stand for my table saw as the old one was lacking storage space.
I used rough birch planks for most parts. Side and back panels and also drawer bottoms are birch plywood.

The upper left drawer is built without a back side, so that it is possible to extract dust via dust port at the back. I removed the Makita’s original dust port from the saw and enclosed that large hole with some plastic sheet. The top of the cabinet has a large hole for sawdust to drop down.

The drawers are running on oak slides, but they are not working as smoothly as I expected. After I finish my router table, I will run the slots a bit wider. And if this still doesn’t help, then mill the slots even bigger to accommodate full extension drawer slides

In the middle there is a vertical drawer, where I can hang a few saw blades.

Finished with some random furniture oil. Total building time 38-40h.

Nice TS stand. Hopefully I will have one as soon as I get a TS.

Great looking set-up and use of space.
