This is a white oak laminated 1 3/4”thick”rose colored glasses”.I made the glass frame and shaped the ear pieces . When I hinged the ear pieces I didn’t like the effect so I decided to use them as the main supports therefore resembling two figures face to face. A good lesson on this is most pieces I make has to evolve in the process. I ve learned not to push and it always works out. The finish is a tortoise shell design. It is a mixture of two different dye stains then lacquer finish. The glass is stain glass with several different attachment . All this and Heaven too.
