“I made this rolling pantry because our pantry in the house is very small. It has a can dispenser at the top that i got the plans from Steve from mere mortals.which you can get here. I modified it to suit my needs, when full it holds 64 cans. It has a large “bread box” style drawer in the middle for potatoes. having 3 growing kids there is always a shortage of food storage available. :) the bottom cabinet has been divided into two shelves for cereal and other box goods. It measures 6 ft high 30 inches deep and 24 inches wide. i made the carcase out of sanded 3/4 ply. stained with Early American and finished with several coats of lacquer. the center panels for the doors are poplar with padauk, maple, and a small square of purple heart in the middle. rubbed with danish oil and sealed with lacquer. All of the trim is poplar with the Early American finish again. The can dispenser was made separately and then set into the carcase and simply tacked into place to keep it from moving around.

-- there is always room for improvement.

Very nice pantry, great build. Looks like it’s pretty convenient being mobile. Nice work on the doors too.

I like this idea! Functional, mobile, and beautifully done!

Clever idea. Nicely constructed.

-- Nature created it, I just assemble it.
