This is a Urn i made for my mother for her birthday last october. It’s for my fathers ashe’s who passed in 2006.

The box/base is made from curly maple, the top is curly maple/purpleheart with purpleheart inlays on the side.

Not so much a complex project, for my 2nd project I’m quite happy. Great learning experience.

Great Urn looks real nice.
What are the dimensions?
I need to make one for my Mom

You had to ask! Well, my dads ashes are currently in a fire proof safe, i wanted something to put them in for her.

I think if i remember correctly, its about 5” tall, 8” wide, and 11” long.
