A nice little cutting board that I made as a gift for my girlfriend. It is made from leftover pieces of walnut and cherry, and gets oiled pretty regularly. If I were to do it again, I’d make sure that I made it with the end grain facing up instead of the edge grain, but I guess that just gives me another reason to play in the shop!

Beautiful cutting board Jason. You did a great job…not bad for a bunch of leftovers. I’ve got a lot of strips of hardwood lying around just waiting to be “chosen” for use as a cutting board. Yours is a gem.

The cutting board looks great. I like the groove that you made aroud the top. I am guessing that is to keep the run off, off the counter.
