Cross one off the “honey do list”. I made this with red oak, walnut burl veneer, and amber mica. Suprises most people when we turn the lights on in the mantle legs. The main challenge was designing a way to change the bulbs when need

That is beautiful to say the least … Change bulbs?? LED’s last some 35 years and use lots less power, and run cool, no need to vent the heat out … Just a thought.
I’ll bet you spend a good deal of time in your favorite chair admiring this piece, I know I would.
