Another rather simple project… Mostly from the scrap bin; oak and black walnut. The oak base is actually a small glue-up of some small oak strips. The front is another small glue-up of oak and black walnut. The back section was originally tossed into the scrap bucket, but I kind of liked the interesting little knot so I pulled it back out and mounted it on the back. I built a jig for cutting thin strips so I used that to cut the thin strips of black walnut that go around the base; they are the exact width of my DeWalt 60T saw blade. :)
