A belated birthday present for someone dear.

End table. Bubinga and maple. Lap jointed. 18” high, 24” long and 12” wide. Finished with Tung oil.

This has some great design concepts. Love the way you did the shelf and the way you gave the illusion of a thicker top. This is a really nice table! The recipient should be thrilled!

Great looking table. The wood combo is quite nice. Is the middle solid wood or edged plywood? The whole thing looks really solid.

Awesome looking colors and design. It’s perfect. I like the bottom trays color pattern and look. Great work.

@ robert: The top is a laminate of 1/2” stock. Its solid. I glued it down on 1/8” ply. Partly because Im lazy and didnt want to sand the bottom and partly because I wanted a glue shoulder for the two 1/4” thick trim pices that I added around the edge to thicken it up and add more detail.
