In the last summer I am bored with the concrete slab as the ceiling of my house porch. I am found this idea at the David Mathias book ” Greene and Greene furniture. Poems of Wood & Light ”. I am saw biutiful living room frieze in the William R. Thorsen house. This design Charles and Henry Greene used in 1908 year. I liked z-joints in this frieze. I am used in this project pine, african mahagony and wenge plugs. In this summer i want to make two ceiling lamp with stain glass .

Nicely done. I understand the source of your inspiration, Mr. Mathias’ book is a wonderful thing.
