Oak and oak-ply shelves with walnut dowels for adjustability on heavy-duty 3” casters. Ended up doing a simple brushed-on poly finish.

Thanks for the praise. To answer Wayne’s question, the shelves are actually all removable, and just sit on walnut dowels. The client that I made this for wanted to be able to put in different sizes of objects on the shelves from time to time, so I wanted to come up with something simple, with just a slight contrast to the oak.
