My top guide block broke on my really old 10” Skill band saw. I saw some clever examples of how to make guide blocks on and thought I’d try my own. Now I have to figure out how to make another on the bottom. I don’t want it to work too well due to my on going negotiations with my wife to buy a new Grizzly Ultimate band saw.

Nice work. I was without my band saw for a long time until I got the bright idea to make my own. Mine use simple cooling blocks. I may change that in the future to resemble what you have done. Thanks for posting.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Now on to making a mobile base for hopefully the new band saw.

Very creative and looks like it did the trick nicely. Nice work.
