This once was a plane brick wall with fireplace….straight out of the 60s. The new owners of the home did not care for it, and so asked for my help. Originally, they wanted some fancy painted cabinets with trim and what not. This being Kentucky, the owners had lots of horse and bourbon memorabilia that was to be displayed. That is when I came up with this. I thought it to be a perfect match. They loved the idea and so, it was. The wood came from on old barn built back in the 1890s. The mantel is hand hewn. This wall is now home to a 48” LCD and many bourbon bottles, autographed University of Kentucky basketballs and horse memorbilia. The owners love it and so do I!

You did a really nice job on this unit. I would love to see one picture with all of their stuff on it.
