I have been turning a number of things with Tiger wood boards (I first thought it as zebra wood). I usually cut off the corners with my chop saw to save time and wear on my hand tools turning it down at the lathe. This provides me with a collection of triangle shaped pieces. I laminated 4 of these together and turned it down to true it up, but didn’t know what to do with it then. I slightly tapered it and made a cup.
Sanded to 320.
Finished with OB Shine Juice (BLO + Shellac + Alcohol)
-- Don't try to figure it out... just turn it.
