A display stand of Honduras Mahogany and Hickory. The legs began from 3×3x7 foot blanks from HardwoodToGo.com [thanks Shannon]. I incorporated some of my GreenerLumber.com river-salvaged Mahogany offcuts for mini-stands (risers) and drawer pulls. Prior to this build, I created a full-sized prototype of poplar which helped finalize design and evaluate construction techniques. Despite this attempt at organization I forgot to create the joinery prior to cutting the leg’s compound bevels and curves. Maybe next time…

A work of art! This has so much interest and appeal you can take your eyes off her. Great design and the craftsmanship is perfect as always!

I like it – very nice design and wood choices.

I like the smooth, curvy lines to it. It has an Japanese look to it, which I really like!

Wow, excellent design and a great looking piece of furniture! Does have a very Asian influence to the style.
