I made this jewelry box for a judges gift for this years cardigan welsh corgi nationals. The wood is cherry with the splines purpleheat. The corgi is waterfall bubinga and holly. I used wine flocking fibers to line the tray and the bottom of the box. the finish is deft semi-gloss brushing lacquer. the base was created by cutting a 10 deg bevel for the top and a 30 deg bevel on the bottom then hand sanded to make the rounded edge. the top is between a 25 and 30 deg bevel for the top and bottom and hand sanded to make the rounded edge.

I like all the detail you put into it . I like the idea of having a mirror also .

Nice work, Inlay looks really nice, angled splinse give added interest. The inside looks great as well.
