I made this jewelry box for a judges gift for this years cardigan welsh corgi nationals. The wood is cherry with the splines purpleheat. The corgi is waterfall bubinga and holly. I used wine flocking fibers to line the tray and the bottom of the box. the finish is deft semi-gloss brushing lacquer. the base was created by cutting a 10 deg bevel for the top and a 30 deg bevel on the bottom then hand sanded to make the rounded edge. the top is between a 25 and 30 deg bevel for the top and bottom and hand sanded to make the rounded edge.

Nice work, Inlay looks really nice, angled splinse give added interest. The inside looks great as well.
