A birthday present for my wife’s sister. My wife wanted something her sister and sister’s husband could share when he returns from a long deployment. So, I borrowed MarineGator’s heart box design and my wife contributed the drawer pulls and did the inscriptions on the back.

The wood, from front to back, is red cedar, cherry, pine, red cedar and cherry. The finish is Danish Oil.

Nice design. How big is the box, what I mean is how much stuff will it hold?

It’s beautiful, like the colors on the wood combo and the pulls. A great gift idea!

Thanks for the warm comments!

Kelly, it is about 6” wide, 4” high, 4” deep, since 4” is the largest height on my little band saw. The upper drawer is fairly small and shallow and would hold a couple of rings or a watch. The lower drawer is larger and would hold about 4×2x3 or 24 cubic inches.
