My first clock. Added the rope trim as the face was too plain – even keeps good time. Had plans from KlocKit and the clock insert also. Fairly easy build with lots of trim on the router.

Nice build. The rope trim really sets it off. I buy from Kockit also they are good people to do business with.

Love2learn: I read your home entries. Sounds like you had/have your work cut out for you, building your home plus building tools. I’ve built many jigs to make my life easier and just to build them. I like your entry about building your own band saw. Thats neat. Got plans? Thats the one thing I do not have that would really come in handy.

That rope trim does dress it up right nicely

Beautiful Clock! And I do agree that the rope trim does it well. I see you asked Lee (Luv2learn) about the band saw plans. This is the place! http://woodgears.ca/tools.html. Matthias Wandel has some cool machine plans here on his site. I built his Horizontal Mortise Machine (it’s posted here on LJ”s). His plans are not expensive and are easy to follow. Thanks for sharing you work! Tony
