AFTER REVIEWING SEVERAL DESIGNS AND STYLES OF BAR CLAMP RACKS I SETTLED ON THIS VARIATION. IT WAS MADE VERY SIMPLY USING 2 PIECES OF 6IN X 36IN ATLANTIC BIRCH PLYWOOD AND WILL EITHER BE HUNG ON PEGBOARD OR SIMPLY SCREWED INTO STUDS IN MY WORKSHOP. SEVERAL VIDEOS SEEMED TO EITHER OVER COMPLICATE THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS OR REQUIRED YOU TO CLAMP THE PIECES FOR STOWING. I WANTED THEM TO BE HUNG FOR EASY ONE HAND ACCESS AND QUICK REPLACEMENT. I SIMPLY STOOD THE BOARD UP IN MY MITER SAY AND CUT THE GROOVES. DEWALT DWS708 HAS A NIFTY DEPTH CONTROL SWITCH TO ACCURATELY REPEAT THIS PROCESS. TOOK ABOUT 10 MINUTES. THEN DRILLED THE HOLES ON THE END OF THE SLOTS TO ELIMINATE THE NEED TO COPE OR CHISEL THE END. THIS ENTIRE PROCESS TOOK 20 MINUTES. ONCE THE GLUE DRIES I WILL SAND IT AND MOUNT. I ONLY HAVE ABOUT 7 CLAMPS SO I ADDED SEVERAL EXTRA SLOTS SO I CAN EXPAND MY SELECTION. THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO CHECK OUT MY PROJECT. NOTE YOU CAN SEE THE PENCIL LINES TO HOW THE CLAMPS WILL HANG IN THIS UNIT.

Do you have a pic of this installed, with the clamps in it?
