This is my very first woodworking project. My Dad bought me some tools and a basics of woodworking book for my birthday back in December so I looked for something simple and functional.

I picked up some scrap cherry from Community Forklift, a local reclaimed building supplies shop here in the DC area. I glued and clamped the boards together, and then sanded the table top.

The legs were purchased on Etsy from RusticLiving.

Looks nice and simple. Take it out in the sun for a few afternoons, you’ll kickstart the whole “beautiful cherry” thing.

Cool mixed media project.
