I made this clock from a tree that was used as target for guns. Lots of bullets in wood.
Clock stands about 7’ 3” and was made with just a picture for plans. The wood is walnutwith Tung oil for finish.

Wonderful work. Amazing that you did it all without plans and from one tree. Amazing. Thanks for posting.

Sweet looking clock. Did you discard all the sections with bullet holes? Can’t see any on the clock.

Nice work, with or without bullets.
Over the years I have made many different clocks but never one that size. Partially because we don’t have a good place to put one. We currently have 8 clocks in our own home and I enjoy the weekly ritual of winding them. When it is quiet the whole house is alive with the tick tocks. Remember to clean and oil the movement about every 3 years and it will last for generations.
