I had this 8.5”x11” art portfolio from a company called Cachet. I don’t remember where I got it (only that I hadn’t paid for it,. Must have been given to me at some point), but i had wanted something alot bigger to handle larger sheets of paper. Online, the one I had was almost $13, which seemed kind of expensive, as it was just made of cardstock and colored paper. The one I wanted was $15, wth some getting even more expensive the bigger they got. Upon further examination of my portfolio, I figured out the design and made my own. My size is a customized 13”x16”. I covered two sheets of 1/8” plywood with fabric and paper (the front cover was this beautiful black silk paper with red dragons on it, and the back was plain black duckcloth). The inside has the large folio pocket on one side, and two “resource” pockets for 3×5 and 4×6 reference photos. I made a couple of ribbon book markers, but then cut them off later as they were more of a hinderance than a help.
