This was a wedding present for my sister. It is walnut and tiger maple. I decided to soften the legs by giving them a nice round on the inside with a book match, so the grain goes around the corner. I will definitely be using this design type again. The top is actually glued up stock, as opposed to an inlay and each of the 4 sections was planed to thinckness individually and then biscuit joined together.
I had some design issues as I went into it that I saw when it was completed, but i like the way it came out. Hope you like it

I really like the creativity apparent in this design. The legs look really interesting when viewed at an angle. Nice job and what a great wedding gift.

Beautiful table. I like the different look of the legs and the top almost looks raised in the first pic. Great job. I’m sure your sister loved it.

Fantastic looking table! Great design and use of the beautiful contrasting woods. Love the curved legs. Great job!
