With my final pieces of scrap wood from a house rehab I built this small corner table. The top is the first table top I have made that is multiple boards joined together. It is held together using dowels on the legs and biscuits on the top. There are no screws in the base only a few to hold down the table top.

It holds a lamp near a reading chair and was sized to fit under a New England style sloped roof and in between a window and the wall.

I think I am getting good enough to attempt something real and I have bought ‘real’ rough cut wood, red oak, and am working on a coffee table now. Wish me luck.

I was recently thinking about making a corner table. I like your design; simple and clean.

Woww I really love this table.A beautiful lamp table can add life in a dull room. The beauty of the table lamp is reinforced with the kind of table that it stands on.It is very important to consider one when buying the other.

Have your say...
