This is real sharp! The ammo can turned shadow box is a great idea. I like the Engineer castle (fitting for your location, and I am biased) and uniform / flag layout. Turned out great

Thanks guys, I try to do different things for every shadow box. I’ve done over 60 boxes and no customer has got one someone else has.

Stephen, remind me again of what size of ammo can you used. I still think that is the perfect gift for any Ordnance-type. Glad you joined the site and great looking projects!

You do have a talent..awesome job again brother! You should get with Sgt. Grit and market some of these…I’m sure there would be a demand for them…could supplement that big retirement S/F

This is outstanding..I wish I kept some of the old ammo boxes that dad used to have laying around.

Way to think outside the box & thanks for sharing.

Great idea for a retiring Marine. I’d like to see some closer up pics of the contents of this one. It’s hard to see them as they are now.

Dougin, he didn’t retire man just changed duty stations. Most people would say that would be a retirement box but all of my boxes are like this. Military people deserve something special for when they give so much of their time to something, so I always show respect when it due.

Very cool shadow box! Very creative idea, like the castle and the frame. A great tribute to the great people servicing our country. Great work!

Have your say...
