I was asked to build a 4’ picnic table for the Mississippi Modern Homestead Center. After a bit of discussion, I got approval to build a children’s table out of pallets to stay with their re-purpose theme. The build took nearly all of 6 pallets plus 4 table legs from my wife’s old dining table and the paint was left over paint from my Christmas toy boxes. $0 spent on materials. I also made a hidden storage tray in the middle of the top. For a long, descriptive, picture and video filled article check out my writeup on my website.

Hopefully it wasn’t a table your wife was still using.

Good job, good use of salvage.

Great way to recycle Jay. You have inspired me to do something with a bunch of pallets that I recently disassembled. The colors really look good together. I’m certain that the children who use it will be glad to have it. Take care.

You made the pallets looked good. Like the design and the color. Great job!
