Made from Maple, Walnut and Cherry. 1-3/8 inch thick. Used Deft Danish oil on it. Only problem is my wife says there is no way she is letting a knife touch it. Oh well.

You got it perfect. Build her another one, using all end grain pieces.

Nice work on this. You could take a knife and scratch it!! I would hate to see anyone cut on one of these, but they have two sides.

Just tell her to cut on one side and display the other.
