Where, oh where did you find the plans?!! I built one of these for my son 35 years ago. When his son was born four years ago one of the very first things I did was set out to find the plans. If you have them, are you willing to share or at least share where you got them?.
You really did a great job on this. yours is much more advanced than the one I made. Your side opens down and you added a shelf inside. the awning over the door is a nice touch, too, as is the window above the door.
Congratulations! Your recipients are really going to love these.

I actually built these for my neighbor for his grandkids. He showed me the basic size and style he wanted and I just started cutting. Since I had so many window frames to build, I glued up the shape I wanted and cut them as you would a loaf of bread. Saved a lot of time. Sorry I don’t have plans to share, but they are pretty simple. If you need I can give youy some dimensions, if this will help you out.

Jeff, You are more creative than I. As I recall, the plan I used required one sheet of half inch plywood, so extrapolating, the size was likely just under 4 feet long and 1.5 feet high by probably 1.5 feet wide. You did a nice job. Thanks for the memory.

Excellent toyboxes. Neat design. I’m sure they’ll become family heirlooms for those kids.

Hi, I like toy boxes. Great design & work.
The avatar for ralbuck is a toy box over 6 feet long.
Also made from “no plans”.
