My daughter and I made these nest boxes for my Dad’s and Dad-in-Law’s birthdays this month. I did all the cutting, but she did most of the pounding and nailing.
We made these from cedar fence rails bought at the BORG, and a little sheet metal flashing for the roof peak. We ran out of dowel stock after we made the first nest box, so we used nails for the second one.
This was her first real project. I think she had a lot of fun. I’m guessing her Granddads will really like them as well.
