My first commisioned piece for 2013. Inspired from a steel C&B bookshelf; this one is made from oak plywood (interior boxes and carcass), and white oak for the face frames. Ebony stain on the interior and a mix of weathered gray and “peppermill” on the rest. Satin finish poly all over. All the pieces were finished before assembly. No visible fasteners anywhere on the entire bookshelf. Also my first time using a lock mitre bit for assembling the carcass.

Nice, I like it. Unusual combo of grey and ebony, but It works well together. Looks very well made.

Love it. Great design and great build. Like the stain and the finish. Very cool bookshelf!
