Can’t get more basic and simple than this. Works great and easily adjusts for drift. Built from maple I had layin around. Took a lot longer to think about it and re design it a few times than the actual 2 hrs to make it. (3 hrs if you count the trip to Lowes). Only thing I had to buy was the fine thread bolts to fit the threads in the table, and the wing nuts to tighten the fence. (those bolts are made to attach handrails and will be found with the stair parts). I off centered the bolts in the fence so that I could spin it around and have the flexibility to dodge the bolts in the table rails.

WOW!!! That’s a fantastic idea!!! I just made one for mine that I’m not at all happy with. I hope you don’t mind, but I’m going to use yours as a guide to make mine. I tip my cap to you for being so ingenious!

Thanks Rick, glad you like it. You might want to make your rails a little bit longer. I can see myself making some new ones (longer table rails) when the need arises.

Jim, Nice creation, just bought a used Band Saw, and need a fence, yours looks excellent, but why 2 Rails/Fences to right of Blade?
Thanks

Pete, The shorter block is added so that the guides will clear the taller fence for cutting smaller stock. Otherwise the guides would be too high. For cutting/resawing larger stock I remove the short block and raise the guides above the big fence.
