This a cabinet that I made to replace an old white cabinet on the upper portion and below it was just empty space . So I took out the old white cabinet because I wanted to replace it with this cabinet with the bottom to have air flow through . The reason for the air flowing through is these tanks sweat a lot in the summer in hot humid weather. They are setting on the ground and if they sweat a lot sometimes it don’t hurt a thing .The reason for this is I have no basement to put my water softner and rust filter. And this house is only 927 square feet inside so I don’t have a lot of extra room . So if I put the softner and filter on the floor there we would not have had much cabinet above so I cut a round hole and se them both down on the ground and built the cabinet above them .The salt tank is about 8 feet away in another closet .Problem solved . very nice cabinet and a great solution for the airflow.

Great idea and with additional storage. Like the design and wood choice. Great work on the beautiful cabinet.
Have your say...
