I made this picture frame a few years ago(before I moved to Florida) and wondered whatever happened to it! My oldest daughter asked me last week if I could carve away some wood in the back so it would fit an 8×10 picture! To my surprise it was this frame. I’m taking advantage of having this in my possession to post this. My daughter says she will help her children in the painting and decorating this frame. I found this pattern in an old magazine and enlarged it from 5×7 to 8×10. This is made from white pine and is still unfinished. I did clean bit up a bit more but it is what it is!

I dabble in many forms of crafts and hope to continue learning new crafts to keep myself busy, occupied and entertained. I have signed up for a 2 day class in wood burning to further enhance my bowls and vases.

As always, comments and critiques welcomed and appreciated!

Nice carved frame. I know you as a master wood turner, now as a master carver as well.

NICE! How is it going to be improved? Making it out of silver metal?
