Project Information

Pictured: I made this jewelry box from the log of dark walnut leaving it in it's natural state along with the primitive and natural looking lid, this box offers a pull out tray along with a false bottom door leading to a hidden compartment, to open the false bottom door you simply push down on one side lifting the other to remove the door, also displayed in one of the photos, it measures 9" across and 4 1/2" high, it is finished in one coat of tung oil and three coats of wipe on poly with a final coat of paste wax.

Thanks for looking

9" across? That's a big un. Love the walnut and the secret compartment.

Looks terrific, like the natural shape and hidden storage. The incredible finish sets it off.
