The sewing chest made of maulberry and drawer sides made of sycamore with the dove tail joint ends showing through the drawer fronts. My wife had an set of plastic drawers for her old sewing basket about this size and the stand frame that held the drawers kept breaking and she kept in a closet beneath the hanging clothes kind of like hidden . I said why don’t you let me make you one made out of wood . So I made out of some unusual mualberry that I had cut and dried . This wood darkens with light and sun comming through the windows .Then she said that is to pretty to put that in the closet so there it is it buy the old sewing machine above . Then the plastic drawers they were made of a flexable kind . So I thought those are to good to just through away so I made a small cabinet frame to hold the plastic boxes . Threw out the plastic frame that held them . Now she said now I can find a use for that . So we still got that old set of drawers in a new frame . I can show you a picture of that tommorow if you want to see it . Gene

Not too many people work with mulberry but I really like it. This is a beautiful piece and your joinery deserves to be on display. Good call leaving the DTs exposed.
