Interesting. I like the little one on the endgrain. I use some of the same style, but have not done that (yet…but you bet I will, cool) I am thrown off the the big one on the far end ?

HI all& thanks. Hay Daren, Yes that is a bit odd & ofcourse theres a story….. One of my earlier LJ projects… The cherry coffee table / bench, has several small checks on the end. Rather than putting 4 o 5 B-flys, I decided to go with one long / large one near the end. well My Customer saw that piece (that already sold) & liked that. The long butterfly is pretty much decorational on this walnut piece & was added at the request of the customer. I am hand delivering this piece, on the way to the beach.

Beautiful bench, but you may have to rename it bowtie inspired bench. LOL. just kidden. It really is sweet. mike
