Candle Holder, colored plywood

We picked up a wire-framed candle holder a couple months ago.
It held 3 floating candle holders.
Then we got a couple of pieces of color laminated plywood.
So I thought I’d make a holder.
Sanded to 320 grit.
2# shellac buffed off while wet.
Buffed on the Beall System.

Neat candle holder. Do you color the plywood or buy it colored. I have never seen any colored in my area.

Idl, WoodenFrog got the link.
I need to get a couple better pictures because the finish is unbelievably smooth.
You can see a hit of the reflection at the top of the wood.
I was surprised how well is worked under the Beall System.

Wow! That would make some beautiful knife scales as well.
