hi here is 2 bowls that i made out of a wider board it was 11 inches by 1 inch one is made out of rings and the other is segmented i love this wood the ring bowl is 10 3/4 inches at the top 4 inches at the bottom it s 3 1/2 tall …
the segment bowl is 10 inches at the rim and 5 1/2 at the base at stands 4 1/4 it has a floating bottom there are 101 pieces in it what do you think

Damn lovely Branch, both great turning and finishes. Nice segmenting but I favour the ringed bowl for the
grain. Agree with you that is beautiful wood.

I have never come across this timber Branch, it sure has some very nice texture to it.
A very nice example of 2 different approaches to turning a bowl out of boards / pieces.

Branch, these are two beautiful Bowls! I like them both but really like the one out of the board. Your work is outstanding!
