This is a small child’s rocker that I am posting in honor of my friend Mads nudging. In the background of unpainted chair you can see a chair I used fifty some years ago and found in my mother’s garage recently and I used it for a general idea what I wanted to make. The steam bent bow and spindles are white oak and shaped with a draw knife and locked with wedges. The seat and undercarriage are maple. Milk paint and tung oil for the finish. This was just given to a friend who had her first baby. Thanks for viewing.

Beautiful and well made rocker! I’m sure will last for another 50 years, another heirloom piece.
