I found a picture of this puzzle a while ago and decided to make a load of them for Christmas presents. The aim of the puzzle is to move the beads so they are on the same loop. So far nobody has managed to solve it (except me with a set of answers).

The Lovers’ Yoke is the name of that one and it is a tough one to figure out.

Very popular puzzle. I generally make them with rings, I like the bead idea.

I like the bead idea too! I make a lot of these from scraps and give them out as gifts. I also have them lying around the house. I tell people if they can solve it they can keep it. Well, I was down to my last one a few weeks ago when some friends came by with their kids. Their little girl (~13yo) solved in less than two minutes! Needless to say I am now out of puzzles and need to make some more.
