Cool, but I almost wish I hadn’t seen this. I have a lot of rocks- and a lot of wood. AND not enough time to do what I already do!! Have fun.

That’s a real beauty.
I have a rock in my back yard around that size.
It’s black with a cool white streak running through it.
I think I may bring it to the bench and see if I can do something cool to it, like you have done.
Yours are really sharp looking.
Thanks.

That’s cool! How did you get a piece of wood to look like a rock? OH, wait a minute, that is a rock! LOL! Seriously, that really is a neat idea. What is a Suiseki?

Thank you for the link, I can understand the appeal. Having information about a particular thing can lead to an appreciation of it.

Wow! First time to ever hear of Suiseki. Beautiful piece! I’ve had a huge piece of rose quartz laying around the house for years and never did know what to do with it. Now I do.
Thanks for the post and the link.
Have a good’un

Like it. Gives a relaxing and magical appeal with nature. Beautiful rock and base. Cool project!
