This is a white oak Parsons style dining table and a matching bench.
The table measures 30” high, 42” wide, 88” long. The top is 1-5/8” thick.
The bench is 18” high, 16” wide, and 74” long, it can seat 3 very large adults. The top is also 1-5/8” thick.

The legs are attached to the rails with mortise and tenon joinery. Because the pieces are so heavy, I only used a few unglued dowels to keep the tops squared to their rails and legs, but I also used pocket screws on the bench seat to prevent the top from un intentionally coming off should someone want to move it.

The corners are all rounded over 3/16”
I used a router jig and sled on rails to level the slabs.

The table is finished with a food grade oil based acrylic and was then coated and buffed with paste wax.

That’s a really nice design and the white oak suits it well.

Love it. Reminds me of the Big Sur table from Crate and Barrel.

Nice job on making such a beautiful table and bench.A solid oak dining table is a popular choice of furniture to have in a dining room not just for dining reasons, but also as the centerpiece adding character and atmosphere to the room.
