Fabulous! I’m going to build my own for our new kitchen. Any pointers? Suggestions? Caveats? Much obliged for any and all pointers.

inside lined with any type metal for cleaning of grease residue?

Thank you for your comments. To answer some questions, yes it was lined with a stainless steel liner and ducting. And as far as pointers on making one, I’m not very scientific I just made a plywood mock up to figure out all the angles and built my panels off that.

Did you build it around a ready-made liner and fan unit? That seems the way to go.
