Full project and my first steps into to this expensive woodworking hobby here: http://imgur.com/a/0HBJr

I had been wanting to get rid of my ghetto mailbox since I moved into this house in 2008. I have taken 1 wood shop in 7th grade, and I did 1 project about 10 years ago.

This was finished in August 2012. It’s March 2013 and several thousand dollars and hours later – I’m almost thinking my shop is ready to make something else.

Hmmm, I’m thinking that “several thousand dollars” is a bit of OVERBUILD... but HEY ,,, it looks GREAT! :-)

Nice build. The bottom flyer box is useful if folks actually put them in it. I would so like to get a different mailbox post and box but then the HOA police department will be knocking at my door. Oh well, just another Pleasant Valley Sunday.

From the looks of this fantastic Mail Box, I would say your shop is ready for a new project….
Enjoy.
