Here is my version of The New Yankee Workshop Norm’s mobile clamp rack.

I built mine after his basic design but I used my own hanging ideas to optimize the interior space according to my clamp collection. I still have to come up with more ideas to utilize all small free remaining areas.

I hope some ideas could be inspiring!

All details and more photos from this page of my blog.

Thanks for looking.

Best,

Serge

Serge that is a neat clamp rack
I think it wise to build it to suit your clamps like you have done
as no two clamp collection is the same.
I find when clamping I never have enough yet when it comes to
storing them I have to many. :)

I’ll second what Jamie says. When I’m using them, there’s never enough of the right size needed. When I’m puttin’ ‘em away I’m asking myself “Why in the hell did I buy all these clamps” LOL

Great rack by the way!

Great rack Serge. But I think you have way to many clamps…I’ll send over my mailing address so you can get rid of a few…..

Great job Serge !
That rack holds a LOT but doesn’t take up a lot of room.
I am envious of your clamp collection too my friend !

I wish I had one. Actually, I wish I needed one! I never seem to have enough clamps.

Thank you all for stopping by and commenting. To be honest, they aren’t clamps, they are bargains. You can’t imagine how many can’t-pass-on great deals I was lucky to find to get this collection. Mail order catalogs and websites often offer such great deals!

This clamp rack actually holds 131 bar clamps, including six small 4” Bessey bar clamps. Too bad it’s not big enough to hang my pipe clamp collection and my cheaper bar clamps as well.

Finally, here my way of thinking: If I don’t spend my money on something I like, I will spend it anyway but on something I don’t like! Or she will !! :-)

Best,

Serge

I’m impressed with all your clamps but then I looked at your projects. Now I have jig envy. Nice job on the clamp holder.

Next time you think you have too many clamps, send ‘em my way instead of building another rack! But seriously, your is quite an improvement on the original design. I’ve always though there was quite a bit more that could be done with the interior. Nice work! Now if only I had enough clamps to justify building one of these…

I almost can’t see the rack, my eyes are staying at all those wonderful clamps.
What a wonderful way to get organized.
Best thoughts,
